The Municipal Medical Teachers Association has decided to delay their mass casual leave protest, allowing the BMC administration time to enhance hospital security. Patients have been facing difficulties as surgeries are postponed and OPD services are reduced. Hospitals such as KEM, LTMG, Nair, and Cooper have experienced a significant decrease in patient numbers during the strike.
